Melinda Vezeau, Client Service Representative
I am the resident cat lady. I was brought on to the team in July 2021, when our clinic celebrated being open for one year. I’m brand new to the veterinary field, having spent the last 11 years in management in the coffee industry. My husband and I were just married on October 2nd, 2021, and live in south Overland Park with our three feline children. We have Sweet Dee, a five year old three-legged calico, Spooky Beans, a 1.5-year-old black cat, and our baby Couscous Caboose, a six-month-old long-haired orange kitten. I enjoy drawing, cooking up new recipes, taking pictures of my cats, and taking walks in parks in my free time. My husband and I love to travel together and plan on taking a trip to Sweden and Norway in 2022. |
Miranda Smith, Customer Service Representative
I was born and raised in Kansas, and since 2015, I have been involved in the veterinary industry. Over the years, I have worked with cats, dogs, reptiles, sugar gliders, and more. I have two dogs and a snake: Zeus, a chow chow, and Boomer, a rottweiler, and Uranius, a ball python. Back in 2021, in September, I married my best friend, Aaron. We have been taking time each year to travel and try new experiences. I am not great at describing myself, so I went ahead and asked a friend. "Hello, my name is Miranda Smith, and I love Disney, desserts, and Christmas. I think that iced coffee is considered a full meal. I forget my Epi-pen everywhere I go, I order margaritas at bars no matter how busy, and I am a princess.``-Laural Lee. As I grow, I have learned to appreciate the experiences that we go through in life. No matter if they are good or bad. Everything will be okay if I have my friends and family by my side. |

Morgan Van Noy, RVT - Registered Veterinary Technician
I am originally from Weston, MO, and have always loved animals. Growing up, I have always surrounded myself with animals; dogs, cats, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, and even horses. I graduated from Central Methodist University with a bachelor's degree in Biology. Then, after working with a veterinarian for a little over a year, I went back to school. I graduated from Rockford Career College with an associate of applied science in Veterinary Technology. Currently, I live in Belton, MO, with my husband and daughter. We have four fabulous dogs and an ornery cat. We enjoy going to the lake, spending time outdoors, and traveling. |

I grew up in Omaha, NE. I have always had a love for animals from a very young age. I started working with animals 14 years ago after I got my first dog. I have worked in many different pet industry areas, from boarding facilities, grooming, daycare to veterinary medicine. I have been working in the veterinary field for almost 7 years. I truly enjoy my interactions with each of our clients and providing the best possible care to their beloved pets. I look forward to continuing to learn in the veterinary field. My husband and I have 4 dogs, Husker, Rosie, Dev (all Cockapoos), and The Brown Dog. (English Lab). We recently moved back to the Kansas City area from Colorado to be closer to our family. Roxanne Suhr, Veterinary Assistant
I began her journey in Veterinary Medicine when I was 14, working at a local Kansas City kennel. Over the years, I have continued to develop skills in both technical and client communication. Now a Technician Assistant (a technician in training), I can assist in exam rooms, work in the lab, answer client questions over the phone and assist with care for hospitalized patients. I am currently pursuing my certification to become an RVT(Registered Veterinarian Technician). I spend much of my time off studying, attending online classes, and continuing education training for my strong interests in cytology and animal dentistry. When I have downtime, I enjoy spending it with friends, being outside as much as possible, watching football, and pet sitting. When I am not working, you can catch me on the golf course, hiking, running, boating, and hanging with my friends and family. |
Hannah Helm, Veterinary Assistant
My career started when I was 17 years old as a kennel assistant. From there, I worked my way up to become a Veterinarian Assistant and continued to grow professionally over the past four years. In addition, I love to spend my spare time fostering dogs and furthering my education about critters. At home, I have a golden retriever, a husky mix, and multiple rescue reptiles ranging from a tortoise to a tarantula! |
